Irish stars to lead the way at Isle of Man’s Octoberfest

COMEDIAN Brendan Grace is to headline this year’s annual Octoberfest on the Isle of the Man.

The 14th running of the event will be staged at the newly-refurbished £14million Villa marina complex in Douglas and feature a host of Irish acts.

Joining Brendan in the star studded line-up will be Frances Black and her band, Finbar Furey and friends, and Paul Malone.

Other highlights include Ireland’s Irish tribute band Abbaesque, Marty Fay and the band Itos, while the James Peake Experience return through popular demand.

The Octoberfest is now one of the Isle of Man’s biggest events — with thousands of people travelling from across Europe to enjoy the entertainment. This year’s concerts run from Friday October 22 to Monday October 25.

All the shows take place in the fabulous fully-seated Royal Hall, which is serviced by four bars, each with their own special character.

The beautifully restored auditorium combines Edwardian grandeur and comfort with the latest sound and light system to create a unique atmosphere.

All-in packages for the event are available from just £135 per person. They include three nights bed and breakfast, hotel accommodation, return ferry from Liverpool, all coach transfers and three nights entertainment from some of Ireland’s favourite performers.
