| Six Nations Previews England v.
Italy
February 11 Flaminio Stadium. 5pm
Following their victory over Grand Slam winners Wales England will be
expected to pile on the points against Italy this Saturday.
Andy Robinson's side will have noted the improvement in the Italian side but
anything other than a comfortable victory would be one of the greatest
shocks in Six Nations history.
England will be without full-back Josh Lewsey and captain Martin Corry but
should secure the second leg of a possible Grand Slam without any real
difficulty.
Verdict: England win
Wales v.
Scotland
February 12 Millennium Stadium KO 3pm
After their shock victory over France Scotland travel to the Millennium
Stadium with real optimism of getting a result.
Although soundly beaten at Twickenham Wales did not play badly and can
recover and re-group sufficiently to win despite the absence of the
suspended Gavin Henson and a number of their Grand Slam heroes.
Scotland's resurgence under Frank Hadden has made this match far more
interesting but the real test will be how the Scots perform away from
Murrayfield.
Verdict: Wales victory |
