In our part of the country you’re not really allowed to celebrate
winning the National Football League. Flammable materials normally used
for bonfires are kept till late September in the confident hope they’ll
be used to welcome Sam over the county bounds. But even the most cautious
of Kerry supporters will have been encouraged by Sunday’s fine win
over Galway.
