London Irish to host rugby stars of the future

London Irish RFC will host a two-day master class for young rugby players in Kent for the first time in the build-up to Christmas.

Former Dartford Grammar School student Topsy Ojo will make a welcome return to his home patch to help develop the rugby skills and offer tips and advice to the budding players.

The master class will take place at Gravesend RFC in Milton Road on December 20-21 and hopes to attract more than 100 players from schools and clubs in the region.

Classes are organised by the London Irish Community Department, together with the full support of Gravesend RFC and are designed to help young players learn the latest techniques used by Premiership players.

The course takes place from 9.30am-3.30pm and is open to girls and boys aged between seven and 17.

Participants will enjoy rugby practices, games, competitions and will get a free ticket to watch London Irish in action.

London Irish’s community development manager Philippos Kyriacou will be running the training camp.

To reserve your place on the course, visit rugbycamps.com/irish or call Zoe Mathieson on 01932 750116.
