A drag for some as England follows Ireland’s initiative
Three years ago Ireland came to the fore when it became the first European
country to introduce a nationwide smoking ban in all public places. Scotland
followed suit last year, with Wales bringing the legislation into force
in April. This week England joins the campaign to kick the habit. Elaine
