Sinéad O’Connor’s new album Throw Down Your Arms was finally released in what was a long-anticipated offering.

Throw Down Your Arms is reportedly the record that Sinéad has been working towards her whole career.

Recorded in just two weeks in Kingston Jamaica the album is a collection of roots songs which have inspired the controversial singer in her life and work for the past 15 years.

It includes tracks written by Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Peter Tosh and Lee Perry.
