Norah Jones
New York City:
The Chill Album
It depends what you’re looking for, but if you like the lounge, chillout
genre this album could be just for you.
Featuring the talented Norah Jones, New York City: The Chill Album shows
her talent like never before.
Marking a departure from Come Away With Me this remixed album sees
Jones’ unique voice blended with DJ Strobe’s production.
New York City demonstrates the versatility of Jones’ vocal ability with
eight laid-back electonica remixes — two remixes of four songs.
DJ Strobe’s take on Things You Don’t Have To Do and New York City is
especially clever and Jones
seems more than comfortable in the zone.

George Best — A Tribute
Even if you don’t like George Best, this is a great CD and one with a
worthwhile cause.
Featuring the original music performed at the funeral of
George Best, the three featured tracks are fantastic, moving and
heartfelt.
And profits from the record will be donated to The George Best
Foundation which will raise funds to carry out research into alcoholism
and liver disease.
Irish musicians Brian Kennedy and Peter Corry who are featured on the CD
have both also donated their royalities to the foundation.
You Raise Me Up, The Long and Winding Road and Bring Him Home/Vincent
including the live applause from the congregation
will certainly not let you forget
the day George Best was
buried.
Sir Alex Ferguson commented on the single: “It’s appropriate that given
the emotion that the songs generated at George’s funeral that this
should be the starting point for the foundation.
“I hope that it will be very successful, and will help the memory of
George Best stay with us.”
