Piper heads to London

Irish pipes and whistle player John McSherry is playing in London this week.

Hailed as one of Ireland’s finest exponents of traditional music, John has played with Clannad, Dónal Lunny, Nancy Griffiths, Michael McGoldrick, Sinéad O’Connor and Eddie Reader.

He is known for taking Irish traditional music to new heights. John will appear in concert with top Irish fiddler Dónal O’Connor; piper Francie McIduff (from the famous McPeake clan); the awesome singer/guitarist Alan Burke; and the Asturien Traditional Musician of the year Ruben Bada at the Hammersmith Irish Centre on Saturday, October 28.
