Paris researching Irish roots  American
hotel heiress Paris Hilton will travel to Ireland in a bid to find out
if she is a distant relative of British pop star Lily Allen.
The 26-year-old will attend the Flatlake Literary Festival in Co. Monaghan
later this month to attend an event organised by Allen’s uncle Kevin
and to search her family tree.
Keith Allen said: “We believe Paris wants to come to the festival,
which is at my in-laws’ place at Hilton Park, to check out her Irish
ancestry. They may be related.”
Paris Hilton is known as a model, actress, businesswoman and recording
artist.
She is an heiress to a share of both the Hilton Hotel fortune and the
real estate fortune of her father Richard Hilton.
The socialite rose to fame around 2003 in the reality series The Simple
Life.
She has also appeared in several minor film roles including the 2005 horror
film House Of Wax and last year she released her debut self-titled album
Paris.
A tabloid favourite, she was jailed for 24 days earlier this year in Los
Angeles for violating probation on a driving ban. |
