Irish actress Nora-Jane Noone is ready to swap the small screen for the stage. The 23-year-old, who shot to fame after a stint in Coronation Street, is hoping to hone her talent by treading the boards in Dublin.

She said: “I would really love to do some theatre. I have been auditioning for parts in Dublin. I really like London there is so much to do and there are so many people in the industry there. But I would love to work at home as well.”

Nora-Jane also said that she has sparked up a friendship with lovable rogue Vinnie Jones after they filmed Brendan’s Foley’s comic horror Bog Body in Ireland together.

She said: “He is so lovely and really nice to hang out with. He is completely different to what you would expect. We even went to Shelbourne Park to see his greyhounds race.”
