Born in London to an Irish mother, Barton spent most of her life in the United States but until now she had only a green card. Apparantly she was quite nervous about the whole procedure. She said: “They make it sound so difficult. It’s like: ‘what colours are the American flag?”.”

Hmmm... but then again we should probably give her a break as with that triple nationality she’s bound to be confused!
