Kila man’s solo debut

Piper Eoin Dillon —one of the founding members of the international touring outfit KILA — is set to release his debut album The Third Twin this week.

Playing from the tender age of 15, Dillon has performed with Hector Zazu, Manus Lunny and Jane Sibery but is now determined to make it on his own. According to the Blackrock man, The Third Twin embodies a pioneering approach to the age-old muse that is known as the Dublin style of piping. He composed the majority of the 10 instrumental tunes on the album, and accompanying him on the recording of the album are Steven Larkin on fiddle and violin, Frank Thorpy on bouzouki, and Des Charleton on guitar.
