Rumours that Brian McFadden is engaged to Australian singer Delta Goodrem have been rubbished by the former soapstar’s mother.

Goodrem’s mum said that while the couple are in love, they’re not just ready to walk down the aisle.

The rumours started after pictures emerged of the former Neighbours star wearing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger.

But Goodrem‘s mum said: “It’s a friendship ring.

“It’s from jeweller David Yurman in New York who supplies Delta with lots of jewellery.”

No doubt Brian’s ex -wife Kerry will be glad to hear that!
