George not happy about gay weddings

In a surprise declaration, former Culture Club star Boy George has slammed gay marriages and welcomes gay divorces.

The controversial singer, who is himself gay, ridiculed the same-sex weddings that have taken place since British law permitted it last December.

Talking about the outdated institution he said: “Gay unions, what is that all about? I haven’t been invited to any ceremonies and I wouldn’t go anyway. The idea that gay people have to mimic what obviously doesn’t work for straight people anymore I think is a bit tragic.

“I’m looking forward to gay divorces.”
