Getting to and from the city
There are four terminals at Sydney Airport
– one international and three domestic. Check your ticket to find out which
one you need to get to.
By car Getting to the airport by car
will take at least 30 minutes, but probably more like an hour. Short-term
parking is available at the international terminal. There is a shuttle link
between the various terminals and the long-term carparks.
By taxi You can get a taxi outside
the arrivals area, and the fare into Sydney’s centre will cost about $20.
By bus The Airport is served by a number
of bus services including the Airport Express. This service operates three
routes, and bus company staff will direct passengers to the correct bus.
Most hotels are served by The Kingsford Smith Sydney Airporter, a private
bus service that links accommodation venues to all Airport terminals.
By train There is an Airport Link train
service, with stations in both the Domestic and international areas. The
journey time is about 11 minutes, but space for luggage is limited.
